Taking the Lead in a ship of April Fools. Amending the Lede, No greater passion “Than the Passion to Alter Someone Else’s Draft”

My recent experiences of rummaging around in room 101 over at Wikipedia’s Vernon Coleman Article gave the title to and set up for HG Wells, famous quote.( Above and at the link)

Dr Coleman correctly diagnosed the use of Wikipedia as a prophylactic (weapon) against thought crime, and the coordinated banning of the Drs You tube video, and substantial re-writing of his wikipedia entry on the date that it went viral after being put on line are all borne out by the Wikipedia articles Page view statistics.

This was recorded on March 18th 2020 on YouTube, which banned it recently. Two versions of this video were published on YouTube and received well over one million views. Viewers might find it interesting to see how the forecasts it contained have turned out so far.

The Importance of Wikipedia as a media distribution regulator can not be underestimated. Wikipedia as the 5th Largest global web site and is habitually referenced by people interested in checking sources of information. This is shown clearly by the data in the graph above.
What is very important and the thought behind Wiki Ballot, are the possibilities that Web Links and back links offer disparate groups, opposing the dominant media narrative, to join their virtual on line forces together.
The Best visual representation of the idea is given for me in Martin Nowak’s presentation in the Why are we here Documentary series made by my Friend David Malone.

NP-hardness

For a gentler introduction, see P versus NP problem.
Euler diagram for P, NP, NP-complete, and NP-hard set of problems.
Euler diagram for P, NP, NP-complete, and NP-hard set of problems. The left side is valid under the assumption that P≠NP, while the right side is valid under the assumption that P=NP (except that the empty language and its complement are never NP-complete)
In computational complexity theory, NP-hardness (non-deterministic polynomial-time hardness) is the defining property of a class of problems that are informally “at least as hard as the hardest problems in NP”. A simple example of an NP-hard problem is the subset sum problem.
A more precise specification is: a problem H is NP-hard when every problem L in NP can be reduced in polynomial time to H; that is, assuming a solution for H takes 1 unit time, H’s solution can be used to solve L in polynomial time.[1][2] As a consequence, finding a polynomial time algorithm to solve any NP-hard problem would give polynomial time algorithms for all the problems in NP. As it is suspected that P {\displaystyle \neq }\neq NP, it is unlikely that such an algorithm exists.[3]
A common misconception is that the NP in “NP-hard” stands for “non-polynomial” when in fact it stands for “non-deterministic polynomial acceptable problems”.[4] It is suspected that there are no polynomial-time algorithms for NP-hard problems, but that has not been proven.[5] Moreover, the class P, in which all problems can be solved in polynomial time, is contained in the NP class.[6]
